Our Story

How a chemical free skincare start-up came to life in a studio apartment

The Tallow Studio was founded by Aaron Morgia—just a health and wellness junkie with a dream and a jar. Tired of the limitations of corporate America, Aaron knew he wanted something more for his family. But it wasn’t until his girlfriend, Ally, suggested they make their own tallow balms to save some money that the idea truly clicked.

What started as a DIY project quickly turned into something bigger. From a small studio apartment in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, Aaron began experimenting, testing, and refining formulas. He shared early batches with neighbors, listened to their feedback, and slowly turned those late-night trials into something special.
